Rudhramadevi is an upcoming movie Telugu, Kannada and Tamil historical film, based on the life of Rudrama Devi one of the prominent rulers of they Kakatiya dynast in the Deccan Plateau, and one of the few ruling queens in Indian history. The film is being written and directed by Gunasekhar in 3D. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil.It is being dubbed inKannada,Hindi and Malayalam,and features an ensemble cast of Anushka Shetty, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk,Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menen, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa, among others.Anushka Shetty will play the role ofRudrama Devi The film’s soundtrack and background score were composed by Ilaiyaraaja[6] The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 9 2015.
